Ooh noo is designed and created with love and traditional craftsmanship, featuring original artwork, created especially for the ooh noo collection. When it comes to our children, we don’t compromise: everything is hand-made exclusively out of pure old-world materials.
The result is a durable and versatile collection, which can be combined in literally hundreds of different combinations. The designs are equally appropriate for young boys or girls, which makes the collection especially great for large families.
We use pure flax linen of the highest quality and sometimes we add a touch of pure cotton to make it even softer. As you care for it, you will notice that the bedding is getting softer by the year and the artwork is slowly acquiring its proper character: time-warn and gently faded. This is how it is supposed to look. It should look used, loved, soft, charming and well designed to stand the test of generations.
The ooh noo collection is literally an investment into the family's history in the making. Hand-me-downs get a new meaning, because with years of persistent washing, tumble-drying and intensive use, ooh noo becomes even softer, more homey, cosy and pleasant to use.
As well as combining the old-world charm with the minimalist contemporary design, ooh noo is also created for intensive use. It can be washed at the highest temperatures and tumble-dried at will.
Ironing, on the other hand, is highly optional. In fact, an ooh noo bedding can be recognised for its natural and pleasant crumpling and softness of something being cared for with love. You can iron this charm out if you must, but we recommend you spend more time enjoying your softly crumpled bedding and less time toiling over the ironing board.
