Winter is coming and the weather is getting gloomier. We are all just waiting for the weekend to come and to stay indoors. Finally we have a valid excuse to lock the door, to not go anywhere and to not do anything. You see where we are going with this?
However, before you do any of the above, you need to be fully aware that such do-nothingness requires some serious thinking and planning. You absolutely need to know there are two stages of having a PJ day. First, there is the PREPARATION STAGE, and second, the EXECUTION STAGE.
Since we do not want you to find yourself in distress, we will share some useful tips with you on how to make arrangements and implement them.
In order for you to have a carefree PJ day, you need to plan in advance. You need to stock up on food, so that you won’t have to part with your jammies. This must be avoided at all costs. Have some books and games ready. You might even try building some arm muscle because there will be plenty of folding of arms around one another, cuddling and flipping pancakes in the air. You can even tell people that you are away for the weekend.
When the weekend finally arrives, turn off your phone and lock the door. Whatever you do, stay in your PJs. Do not even toy with the idea of getting dressed. Indulge in lounging around, have fun with your little ones, play games, read books, forget about the time, don’t worry yourself with calories, make stacks of pancakes and drown them in whatever you and your loved ones like. Go bananas! If, by any strange coincidence, someone comes by, do not let them in unless they are wearing jimjams.
To sum up, the following ground rules should be observed: do not make fuss about anything, focus on your not-to-do list and cherish the time with your loved ones. Because this is what matters the most. Next to stylish jamas, of course.
